How Does Platelet-Rich Fibrin Result in Hair Growth?

Platelet-Rich Fibrin, PRF is a concentrate of a patient’s own blood. The concentrate is collected by drawing blood from the patient and placing it in a centrifuge. As the blood spins in the centrifuge, the platelets and growth factors are separated and platelet-rich fibrin is left. Platelet-rich fibrin contains ten times more platelets, growth factors and active proteins than regular blood.
